Similar to the Framework Comprehensive Plan, the zoning code update will be reviewed through a series of Special Called meetings. The zoning code review process began on April 6, 2022. The zoning map review process will begin on January 31, 2024. This page lists the Planning and Zoning Commission schedule of Special Called meetings to be held outside of their regularly scheduled monthly meetings.
Each Special Called meeting will review specific topics of the zoning code with the public. Review the meeting details below to see which topics will be discussed and check back for opportunities to share comments for an upcoming meeting.
All Special Called meetings will be held at 5:00 PM on their scheduled date and will be live-streamed through the City’s cable TV channel (Comcast Channel 20) and Facebook page: www.facebook.com/TuscaloosaCity/.
